I like to read because......

I like to read because I can escape into different world. I can just get completely absorbed into a book and forget everything else. You can project yourself into a character or watch from the sidelines as the plot unravels. You can be anywhere while reading and get engrossed in a book. You can be in your room and yet find yourself in Hawii or Hogwarts. You fall in love with the characters and they become yours. You feel empathy for them and sometimes you feel jealousy that you're not them. Whether it is a romance or adventure most of the time you wish you could experience a little bit of what they experience. You can get lost in a sea of words and lose track of time. Not only is it a great way to spend time but if you have a lot of time and you are bored there is nothing better to do than get engrossed in a book. The book can get you lost and when you look at the time you find all of your time is gone. Romances have you wishing that you had a love so great or you could at least come close to the love they have for each other. Books make you hope and believe that there endless possibilites.
